Welcome to our site!

Thank you for dropping by.
As you can see from our banner, this site is the home of the York County Federation of Democratic Women. York County is located in South-Central Pennsylvania, a state once described by James Carville as "Pittsburgh and Philadelphia with Alabama in-between".

Currently, Republicans may outnumber Democrats in this part of the Commonwealth but we are still able to exert some influence in the overall national election results. And we have been able to help elect some high quality Democrats to local public offices. But there is still so much more to do.

We continue to promote the cause of our predecessors: equal rights for women, and have included not only equal rights but equal protection for ALL persons. It is a cause which, we believe, is worth the fight.

Our new site is "evolving" and we hope you come back often to see our new features and links.
Once again, "Welcome!"
